Silicones generally don’t stick to anything, however porous surfaces with deep texture can be a little tricky. For these surfaces, use Polyvinyl Alcohol Solution (PVA), Pol-Ease® 2350 Sealer & Release Agent, or Petroleum Jelly, to seal the surface.
Silicones have also been known to stick to glass and some metals. For these surfaces, use Pol-Ease® 2500 Release Agent. It is a dry aerosol spray that will minimize any surface imperfections caused by brushing on wet releases like Petroleum Jelly or Pol-Ease® 2350.
Silicones may also stick to themselves. Pol-Ease® 2350, Pol-Ease® 2500, or Petroleum Jelly should be used to prevent this from happening.
