Polytek liquid rubbers can be poured onto a textured pattern (e.g., slate, brick, cobblestone, flagstone, etc.) to make reusable stamping tools and texturing skins to impart any desired texture into a concrete floor, wall or other surface. Concrete stamping is used to make faux stone walls, textured pool decks, walkways, patios, driveways, stairs, countertops and more.
Watch the two tutorials below to learn two different techniques with cobblestone and slate masters:
Tutorial: How to Make a Rubber Stamping Mat for Concrete (Cobblestone Model)
In this video, we demonstrate how to make a concrete stamping mat out of polyurethane rubber. We use cobblestone as our model and Poly 75-80 polyurethane rubber as our rubber mold material.
Tutorial: How to Make a Concrete Texture Mat (Slate Model)
In this video, we show you how to create a rubber texture mat from real slate. Texture mats are commonly used as concrete texturing tools and can be created from a variety of natural surfaces.
